Rhinocraft: The Hybrid & Rib edition
When technical competence meets surgical experience
Rhinoplasty per se requires dedication and a long learning curve. Many changes and variations in techniques over the last years have made this operation more complex but undoubtedly with improved results. Flexibility in intraoperative choices, attention to detail and mastery of multiple tips and tricks increasingly matter. Even the best rhinoplasty courses worldwide have the drawback of a large faculty with different point of views expressed in a limited time. This may lead attendees to confusion and a desire for further guided learning .
This is why I started my live surgery courses, so as to share fully my processes of analysis, decision and execution in all details and every nuance. This will be the best way for those who will attend to shorten their learning curve and draw direct benefit from my experience.
My live surgery courses concern primary hybrid rhinoplasty, secondary rhinoplasty with rib grafting, or a combination of both
In all, my key aim is to avoid standardized results, choose harmony over highlights and achieving a result that will naturally blend with the patient’s features
Primary Hybrid Rhinoplasty
Compared to the past, we now have an arsenal of techniques and approaches never seen before, but this very technical development has made it clear that there is no universal approach capable of addressing the variety of possible cases: every nose presents unique characteristics that escape standard protocols. Such characteristics must be understood and surgical plan drafted to follow
Primary Hybrid Open Rhinoplasty combines Structural and Preservation concepts, drawing the best of both. Piezo and Power tools can then well be combined together for different and complementary indications, regarding both the manipulation of nasal bones as well as a precise septoplasty. Understanding individual anatomy by clinical analysis and CBCT scan is key to variations in strategy which will lead to a natural looking nose that looks unoperated and breathes well
Rib Grafting in Secondary Rhinoplasty
When performed with a clear algorithm and attention to detail in the mastery of numerous tips and tricks, finesse rib grafting allows a true difference in results. The steps are many, from precise rib harvesting to rib laminating, reshaping, and applying to multiple architectural frames. This comes together with precise bone work and rebuilding aesthetic dorsal lines. This algorithm of architectural rebuilding leading to aesthetic restoration has to follow a precise logic and sequence, and becomes indispensable for those who want to actively practice revision rhinoplasty with excellent results.
- Three days in HD connection with the operating room
- Six primary and/or secondary cases of varying complexity and highlighting different situations
- Preliminary masterclasses on my algorithm and the techniques I will demonstrate
- Lectures and videos on the many topics and current refinements I employ
- Cases analysis and videocases
- A classroom -like format with individual one-to-one interaction
- A collegial atmosphere with stimulating group dynamics, individual attention, and clarity and honesty above all
Learning through live surgery
The HD connection provides a perspective that is impossible to achieve through pre-recorded videos. Each participant observes the decision-making process in real time, understands technical variations dictated by anatomical specificities, and learns from the management of unexpected situations.
Focusing on Tips & Tricks in detail
During the surgeries and in the videos and talks I present, I focus in every detail on specific preferred techniques refined over many years of clinical experience.
Direct sharing without filters
During each surgery and in the discussion that follows, I also share the thinking process, alternative considerations, past mistakes, and how I overcame them. When I need to modify the preoperative planning, I explain the decision-making process in real time. These moments represent the heart of real surgical learning.
